CEO was busy last week! We started our week off with team building at CU Adventures in Time and Space where we managed to escape the creepy cabin with 4 minutes to spare! Of course... we were hungry after that... so we had to follow up with Custard Cup. Big thanks to Nick Reutter of Farmers and Merchants Bank in Paxton and Bob Dickey for hosting our team building night! Throughout the week we worked on our badge business and attended a CEO board meeting where the students reported to the board about all they had been learning doing with this project. Thursday was "sales" day! Using the sales skills they had been learning over the past week, the students spent all day calling on businesses to get sponsors for their name badges and t-shirts. They ended the day very tired...but with smiles...all but two spots sold! Ah....success!! We ended our week Friday with Cheryl Hartke who explained our DISC personality profiles. We learned that we are all "wired" differently, and that can explain a great deal on how we behave and view things. We had a blast with her and can't wait to have her back to dig into DISC deeper!
