Sarah Mussman
Hi, my name is Sarah Mussman. I live in rural Gibson City, Illinois, with my husband, Adam, and our two boys, Will and Wes. Life is busy, sometimes a little chaotic, but always full of love and laughter—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I graduated from Illinois State University with a double major in Animal Science and Agricultural Management. Later, I went on to earn my MBA in Finance and Organizational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University. Most of my professional background has been in finance and tax, where I learned the value of hard work, precision, and building strong relationships with clients and teams. In 2020, I took a leap of faith and started my own business—Corn Crib Candles. What began as a small creative outlet quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Through it, I’ve been able to blend my love for home, agriculture, and entrepreneurship while connecting with people from all over who appreciate a cozy, handmade touch in their lives. Outside of work, my heart is happiest when I’m with my family and friends—whether we’re gathered around the kitchen table, working on a home project, or just enjoying the outdoors together. I have a soft spot for goats (we have a few of our own), and I always find peace being out in nature. I’m also incredibly passionate about helping others grow and succeed. Whether it's supporting fellow small business owners, mentoring someone through a challenge, or simply lending an ear—I truly believe we're all better when we lift each other up. Most importantly, my faith is the foundation of everything I do. It guides my decisions, grounds me during tough times, and inspires me to live with purpose and gratitude.
