🌱 Business Spotlight: Murray Farms 🌱

This week, our class had the privilege of visiting Murray Farms, a seventh-generation family farm and seed dealership with deep roots in agriculture. The Murray family shared their journey, emphasizing how farming is not just an industry, but a legacy built on persistence, resilience, and dedication to the land.

As stewards of the soil, they spoke about the importance of caring for natural resources while balancing the business side of agriculture. From long days in the fields to managing the seed dealership, the Murrays highlighted how adaptability and hard work are key to sustaining a family farm through changing times.

What stood out most was their passion for agriculture—not only as a career, but as a calling passed down from generation to generation. Their story reminded us that success in farming requires a balance of tradition and innovation, grit and perseverance, and above all, a deep respect for the land and community.
