Today our CEO class had the privilege of spending time with the executive team at Gibson City Area Hospital. What stood out most wasn’t just their mission to provide personalized, professional care—it was the heart behind it. You can feel their commitment to this community in the way they talk, the stories they share, and the pride they have in serving their neighbors.

Our students also gained valuable insight into the business side of healthcare—how strategic decisions are made, how leadership teams work together, and how every role connects back to the hospital’s mission. Conversations around operations, workforce development, financial stewardship, and long-term planning gave students a clearer picture of what it takes to run an organization that serves people first while still operating efficiently and sustainably.
