When you’re building something that matters, you need someone steady at the head of the table.

That’s Shawn.

He’s been part of our (still growing) board for the past few years, so when he stepped into the President role this year, it wasn’t a leap; it was a natural next step.

He understands the history.
He sees the gaps.
& he’s not afraid to fix them.

Shawn leads with logic over ego. Decisions aren’t made to keep everyone comfortable, they’re made to move the program forward.

He’s communicative. Open to ideas. Big on teamwork. & since taking on this role, he’s already implemented structural changes that are setting our board up for long-term sustainability.

Not flashy changes. Foundational ones.

Outside of CEO, he is the Chief Financial Officer for Premier Cooperative Inc. and operates a small business bookkeeping service, Elevate LLP. Shawn lives on his farm in Melvin with his wife, Dayna.

This year also brought a brand new title: Dad.

He and Dayna welcomed their daughter Reese last month and he’s learning how to balance board leadership with midnight feedings… which might be the ultimate leadership training.

So yes… he’s building a future here while also building one at home.
