Today, the Prairieland CEO class had the privilege of hearing from Brady Peters, a Division Engineer with OmniTRAX.
From the very beginning of his presentation, it was clear that Brady has a genuine passion for what he does. He shared that his interest in trains and logistics started at just 3 years old, and what began as a childhood fascination eventually grew into a meaningful and successful career. It was a great reminder to students that the things they are naturally drawn to at a young age can often point them toward their future.
Brady gave students an inside look at the transportation and logistics industry and explained how important rail systems are to the movement of goods, businesses, and communities. In his role as a Division Engineer, he serves as a key connection point between multiple divisions within OmniTRAX, helping ensure communication, coordination, and operations all work together effectively. His position requires him to understand many moving parts and oversee multiple facets of the business, which showed students how diverse and multifaceted a career in this industry can be.
One of the things that stood out most during Brady’s visit was the way he spoke about the importance of being dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn. In a field where so many pieces have to come together, he shared how critical it is to be someone others can rely on and someone who is willing to step up when needed.
Another powerful takeaway from his message was the value of networking. Brady emphasized that relationships matter — not only in business, but in every stage of life. Building connections, maintaining a strong reputation, and being willing to learn from others can open doors and create opportunities you may not have expected. That message strongly aligned with what CEO students are learning this year as they continue to grow professionally and personally.
Above all, Brady encouraged students to pursue life and business with passion and drive. He reminded them that success doesn’t just come from knowledge alone — it also comes from work ethic, initiative, and a willingness to keep moving forward. His story was a great example of what can happen when someone follows an interest, stays committed, and turns that passion into purpose.
We are so thankful Brady took the time to invest in our students and share both his professional insight and personal journey. Opportunities like this help bring real-world business to life and give our students valuable perspective as they continue building their own futures.
Thank you, Brady, for spending the morning with Prairieland CEO!
