Meet this year’s facilitator, Benjamin Wurmnest!

Ben brings a unique mix of agriculture, business, and community experience to the program. He has spent more than 10 years farming in the Sibley area and the past five years as a commercial and agricultural lender at Longview Community Bank. Through his work and involvement in local volunteer organizations, he has developed a passion for supporting local businesses and helping others succeed.

As Facilitator, Ben is helping our students build confidence, develop leadership skills, and experience entrepreneurship firsthand throughout our communities. He encourages students to stay curious, work hard, and be willing to step outside their comfort zones.

We’re incredibly thankful for everything Ben has brought to Prairieland CEO and are excited to see the impact he continues to make with our students. We are all already so impressed with the progress this program has made thanks to his dedication. Thanks for being part of the Prairieland CEO family, Ben!

A huge thank you to Holly Haberkorn with Vivid Studios, Inc. for another year supporting the program with incredible headshots!

If you’ve come in contact with Mr. Wurmnest and his class this year, we’d love to hear all about it!
